Minnesota Twins Owner Jim Pohlad Heads to West Hollywood with $3.3 Condo Purchase

Jim Pohlad, the owner of famous baseball team, Minnesota Twins, has reportedly purchased a condo in the popular Sierra Towers in West Hollywood, California, for $3.3 million. Pohlad closed the deal on the condo sometime back in March 2013.

According to Realtor.com, the condo is a 1672 square feet residence stuffed with lavish features. The condo is a one bedroom, three bathroom place with dark tiled flooring, large floor-to-ceiling-windows that offer beautiful views of the city and modern architecture.

Other features of the home include a gourmet kitchen and an automated 96-inch movie screen.

Realtor.com has described the condo as:

"Though it measures just 1,672 square feet in size, Pohlad's high-rise abode certainly packs in the lavish features. Notable highlights include closets and a top-tier chef's kitchen designed by Piriform, marble flooring, and telescoping doors and windows that flow onto a spacious terrace overlooking Sunset Strip. However, the crème de la crème is the Creston home-automation system, which boasts a massive 96-inch movie screen."

The Sierra Towers building is one of the most popular residential towers of the area. Many celebrities like, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, John Elton and Lindsay Lohan have lived in the tower. The building is the tallest residential tower in West Hollywood. It was built in 1965 and was originally called the "Spoon Apartment". It has 31 floors and two elevators. It offers luxury services like 24/7 concierge facilities, a pool area with a sundeck, a modern fitness center and fantastic city views.

Cher also recently sold off her Sierra Towers Condo for around $5.5 million that she had first listed in February.

According to listing records, Cher had purchased the home in 2006 for $4.5 million and renovated the place according to her tastes and style. Her condo is the only duplex apartment in the building.
