Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson have not confirmed the dating allegations thrown at them. Although Jonas played it coy in an interview that he prefers to keep private things private, the 36-year-old actress' friends were allegedly vocal about their opinion about their rumored relationship. They are said to be concerned and think Kate is going through a midlife crisis, that's why he's dating Nick.
Several gossip sites report that Jonas and Hudson looked very much like a couple. Reports have it that they have been dating for a few months now and things have stepped up a gear for the 23-year-old singer. A source apparently told Celeb Dirty Laundry (CDL) that he has fallen hard for the "Almost Famous" star. Their 13-year-old gap is reportedly not even a problem for them; however, her friends believe that dating someone much younger is a real recipe for disaster for the actress.
CDL also reports that Hudson's friends are not happy that she's seeing Jonas."Kate is going through a midlife crisis. She should go home to her kids!"they said.
The actress is a mother to Ryder, 11, her son with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 4, her son with her former beau, Matt Bellamy.
Meanwhile, another source added, "She doesn't see it [the age gap]. This is just a fun hookup for her. It's not like she's in love."
Jonas and Hudson met at a party last year. However, things remained casual until they were re-introduced by Oliver Hudson, the actress' older brother, earlier this year.
They began dating after meeting again at the New York Fashion Week, Mirror reports. Since then they were spotted in several low-key dates, including a date in Disney World in September. She was also in his Manhattan concert on Sept. 9, where she was seen dancing and singing throughout his performance.
Amidst Jonas and Hudson's dating rumors, a witness told People that, "it was just a fling. It's definitely not anything serious. They are both single and seeing other people too. Kate's mostly focusing on her boys and doesn't want a serious relationship right now."
