MLB Star 'Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez' Purchases a Penthouse in GranParaiso Luxury Tower Miami

American baseball infielder Alex Rodriguez a.k.a. A-Rod has just acquired a 3,200-square-foot penthouse in the GranParaiso luxury condominium building in Miami.

The Paraiso is the newest 55-storey luxury condominium situated in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood. The MLB star now owns the 12-foot ceiling penthouse on the 53rd floor of this building where he will be enjoying clear and scenic views of Biscayne Bay and the ocean

According to Design and Trend the new home of New York Yankees infielder, showcases extravagant facilities like putting green, virtual golf, theater, a wine tasting salon, cigar room, outdoor yoga and Pilates room, tennis courts, bowling lanes, a fitness and spa center, as well as a 100-foot zero entry circular pool.

Aside from the lavish amenities that the athlete will get to enjoy in his private penthouse, he will also have access to other amenities that the private property provides to its residents such as the right of entry to the Paraiso Beach Club for an exclusive dining experience with award winning Miami-based chef and restaurateur Michael Schwartz. In addition, the Beach Club is said to allow its residents and guests enjoy waterfront dining and activities on the Biscayne waters.

The luxury condominium towers seem to be a perfect home for high-profile professionals so it may not be a surprise that Alex Rodriguez has neighbors like DJ and music producer David Guetta, NBA star Manu Ginobili who currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs and tennis star Arantxa Sanchez Vicario.

As reported by Design and Trend, the lobby of GranParaiso and the rest of the public spaces is a work of art by Italian designer Piero Lissoni while the The Related Group is the one behind the diverse art collection in the property. Moreover, the ten-acre property was conceptualized by Arquitectonica while Swiss designer Enzo Enea is the one behind the beautiful landscaping.

There is no information on the price of A-rod's purchase but it has been reported that unit's similar to the MLB star's home don't come less than $4 million.
