'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 2 Spoilers: Zoom Sends A Meta-Human; Can The Two Flashes Defeat Him?

After Barry's (Grant Gustin) stint as a solo crime fighter in the Season 2 premiere of "The Flash," the whole S.T.A.R. Labs team will be coming back in episode 2.

According to the synopsis featured in Den of Geek, the second episode of Season 2 will be the introduction of the other Flash as guest star Teddy Sears will be appearing as Jay Garrick. According to the report, Garrick will be going to the S.T.A.R. Labs and will warn about the villain named Zoom (Tony Todd). It was reported that Barry is still contemplating on whether to trust this new visitor or not.

Based on the promotional video, Barry will learn that he and Garrick may have more in common than he thinks. In the video, Garrick says that from where he came from, they call him "the Flash." Does this mean that there will be two Flashes this season? According to International Business Times, this could come in handy as they will be battling a new villain in the show.

According to the report, Barry learned about the existence of Zoom after Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland), who is a meta-human, told him that he was sent by Zoom to kill him. In the new episode, it was revealed that Zoom will be sending another meta-human named Sand Demon (Kett Turton). In the promotional video, the new villain can be seen causing more trouble than Barry has imagined.

Meanwhile, it was reported that episode 2 will introduce a new character in the person of Patty Spivot, to be played by Shantel VanSanten, who is a forensic scientist and also Joe's (Jesse Martin) new partner. It was reported that Joe will be dealing with her as she is described to be a determined officer who wants to join his meta-human task force.

"The Flash" season 2 airs on The CW every Tuesday at 8 p.m.
