"Horizon Zero Dawn" is an upcoming action RPG currently being developed by Guerrilla Games. It will be more than just a game because it is rumored that there will be Horizon Zero Dawn toys, apparel and more next year.

Developer Guerrilla Games together with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) are said to be planning on releasing some "Horizon Zero Dawn" merchandise for 2016 following the release of the game. Moreover, according to PlayStation Lifestyle, the said merchandise may come in the form of books, toys, apparels and more. David Evans, Sony's European Licensing Manager, reportedly revealed that game has a lot of marketing and licensing opportunities and believes that fans are looking forward to experience something that is beyond the game.

In addition, according to Licensing Biz, "Horizon Zero Dawn" is going to be a "hot property for 2016 as manager David Evans is reported to have said, "The epic feel of the game, its breathtaking visuals, strong character development, imaginative combat sequences and the marketing weight of the PS4 release all combine to make this a hot property for 2016."

"Guerilla Games have created a lush post-apocalyptic world that players simply won't want to leave and licensed merchandise offers consumers a way to extend that extraordinary experience into their everyday lives."

SCEE is expected to showcase "Horizon: Zero Dawn" at BLE 2015 from October 13-15 at Olympia, London.

According to GameSpot, as reportedly announced at Sony's E3 briefing, Horizon: Zero Dawn will have a full day/night cycle and players will get to explore forests, mountains, and "atmospheric ruins of a bygone civilization" aside from the presence of robot dinosaurs. Moreover the game's female protagonist "Aloy" was created with inspiration from franchises like Terminator and Game of Thrones.

"Horizon Zero Dawn" will be launched exclusively for Sony's PlayStation 4 in 2016. The game will not have a multiplayer mode but reportedly will have "certain social features in there" which will be announced at a later date.
