Fast and Furious 8 Movie News: The 8th Installment of the Famous Franchise is Confirmed, Gary Gray Directs

Furious 7 was inexplicably awesome, and fans of the Fast and Furious saga still have a lot to look forward to in Fast and Furious 8, or F8 (Fate).

"Paul used to say that 8 was guaranteed and, in some ways, when your brother guarantees something, you have to make sure it comes to pass. So, if fate has it - fate, F8 - then you'll get it. 'Furious 7′ was for Paul; 8 is from Paul,'" said Vin Diesel backstage in MTV Music Awards, producer -star of the famous saga.

Director Gary Gray also confirmed on a Facebook post that he will be directing Fast & Furious 8 as Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) gives chills on the "ride or die" action.

"I could not have asked for better partners than Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz, & the Universal Studios Entertainment family. Together we are excited to bring you the next chapter in the Fast & Furious saga. ‪#‎FastFamily," director Gary Gray posted together with the photo of the release date which is on April 14, 2017.

Diesel also posted a photo with Gray on Facebook, together with a collage of photos from the Fast & Furious franchise. Although there is no caption, the picture itself guarantees us everything we need to know.

F&F star, Michelle Rodriguez shared with E! News that the next installment (F8) how Paul Walker will would inspire it, although not appearing in it.

Rodriguez added, "We need a good reason to move on after Paul. And being that this is a global franchise now, it's not just the American baby, it's important that we consider moving on and take it seriously. But for us as a cast, I think we need a reason and it needs to have heart, so hopefully we'll find it, you know? And somebody who's passionate about directing it-I think that's the most important thing is finding a good director."

And baam! Came Gary Gray. Now everything is set, we are getting excited!
