The Tower Heist actress, Tea Leoni, has reportedly dropped a cool $5.1 million on a bachelorette pad in Riverside Drive on the Upper west Side of New York City.
After her divorce from David Duchovny of the "Californication" fame in 2011, the estranged couple listed their shared Upper East Side maisonette for $9.2 million. Their marriage was on the rocks since 2008. Part of the divorce could be blamed on Duchovny's sex addiction. The actor announced that he was checking into a rehab to treat the disorder in August 2008. Duchovny was also accused of having an extramarital affair with Hungarian Tennis coach, Edit Pakay, which he denied. The couple got back together once, before splitting for good in June 2011.
The maisonette lay untouched in the divorce proceedings but recent listing records show that the property hit the market January. After the split, Duchovny moved from their Upper East Side co-op to a three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo in Central Park West in Sept. 2012. News of Leoni's real estate movements were not known then. However, it now looks like she too is moving west, reports Curbed.
According to the New York Observer, the Riverside Drive Condo is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, spread across 2600 square feet. Apart from the bedrooms and bathrooms, the place has seven other rooms. The condo features hardwood flooring and large glass windows that offer panoramic views of the city and the Hudson river.
Living spaces include a living room, a formal dining room, a media room and an office/library. The place also has a modern kitchen with an eat-in area. Building amenities include doorman and elevator facilities. The building is also pet friendly.
