"NCIS" special agent Tony DiNozzo is going face to face with a very important figure from his past -- ex-girlfriend Jeanne Benoit.
"NCIS" is bringing back actress Scottie Thompson to reprise her role on the show as Jeanne Benoit, Tony's ex-girlfriend. According to TV Line, Thompson played as Doctor Benoit to whom DiNozzo was smitten in season four. Unfortunately, she was also the daughter of Rene Benoit, a well-known arms dealer who was also called "La Grenouille" or "The Frog." Things became really complicated as soon as Benoit found out that DiNozzo was working for the government as an "NCIS" agent. Worse, DiNozzo was given the assignment to bring down Jeanne's father.
The daughter Benoit decided to break up with DiNozzo and forced him to choose between his loyalty to his job or their relationship. Things took a turn for the worse when "La Grenouille" got killed and Jeanne thought it was Tony who did it. She even asked DiNozzo whether or not the things that they shared together are true or not to which Tony said no. Since then, Tony has been mum about his relationship with his ex and this November will finally reveal whether or not DiNozzo really meant what he said.
In a report by HNGN, it was mentioned that DiNozzo's current girlfriend Zoe Keates is not in good terms with the "NCIS" agent which could be one angle that fans of the show are thinking of in determining how Benoit will be reintroduced to the show. Another rumor circulating about the long running military crime series is the return of Ziva who Tony left behind in Israel. It has been a couple of years since actress Cote de Pablo was last seen in the show and many fans are hoping this is the right time to bring her back.
