Lauren Conrad Drops $3.7 Million on Brentwood Home (PHOTOS)

Lauren Conrad of "The Hills" fame has reportedly snagged up a property in Brentwood, Los Angeles for $3.7 million.

According to Yahoo, the MTV star purchased the home sometime this week. The residence is located in an affluent neighborhood where other stars like Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson and Arnold Schwarzenegger also have properties.

Apparently, the home has been redesigned by a fellow reality TV home decorator or realtor, Jeff Lewis. The home was listed for $3.8 million in September 2012, so Conrad must have got it for a slight discount.

According to listing records, the home is a traditional two-story residence spanning an area of 4303 square feet. Built in 1959, the place comprises of six bedrooms and five bedrooms. The home features dark hardwood flooring, and large French doors and windows.

Living spaces include a formal living room, a dining area, a dressing area, and a media room and a small bar as well. The home has a modern kitchen with a central breakfast island.

Outside the home has a nicely landscaped grassy patch and a sitting area. The home also has swimming pool and a basketball court as well.

This is not Conrad's first real estate transaction. The 27-year-old author/designer/TV personality recently sold her home that appeared in the TV show 'The Hills' at a slight loss and purchased a cool Beverly Hills condo for $1.3 million. She also has a residence in Laguna Beach, reports MSN.

Apart from great real estate sense, Conrad is also a super-supporter of eco-friendly stuff. She recently shared her favorite eco-friendly beauty and fashion products to promote international earth day.

"Discovering fashion and beauty products that are eco-friendly is a win-win in my book. So with Earth Day coming up next week, I've rounded up five sustainable fashion and beauty products," Lauren explained. "These eco-chic picks will have you looking your best and getting a few good karma points, all at the same time," Conrad wrote in the Trend section of E! Online, for which she is currently guest-editing.
