"Hawaii Five-0" third episode for season six finds Steve getting a ring in hopes of taking his relationship with Catherine to the next level. The crew takes on a case of a missing gun in the ocean that will help them solve a string of murders that, unknown to them, is also connected to Kono and Chin.
In the latest episode of "Hawaii Five-0," Jerry has moved into his new office in the headquarters' basement. He is happy to be part of the team but wonders why he is not given space along with the others upstairs. Danny's nephew Eric Russo is back and he is joining the crime lab. He is more than qualified work wise but he is still a bit rough in terms of how he handles himself with co-workers.
Meanwhile, Kono's Yakuza problem is far from over. Chin talks to the gang and they agreed to give them a week before striking back at Kono and her husband Adam. "Hawaii Five-0" gets a call about a dead scuba diver who was accidentally shot underwater. Max tells Steve and Danny that the bullet found on the diver matched another murder victim from six weeks ago which means finding the gun will solve both cases.
Steve is preparing to ask Catherine to marry him. He has the ring and is just waiting for his chance to pop the question. However, he overhears her talking to someone on the phone and he senses that she is about to leave him again so he ditches his plan to propose. Danny talks to Catherine after Steve confided in him. After they wrapped up the case of the scuba diver, Steve goes home to find Catherine waiting for him with her bags packed. This time Steve is not willing to wait and the two decided to part ways. The final scene has Catherine receiving a call from a superior asking if she is ready for assignment.
"Hawaii Five-0" airs every Friday on CBS.
