The latest accessory from Microsoft will now let you play with your computer using Xbox One's Wireless Controllers.
The new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows is a dongle that lets your Xbox One Wireless Controller work with PCs and tablets running on Windows 10. The Xbox Wireless Adapter also allows you to play both Windows games as well as Xbox One games which you have streamed to your PC.
"With the Xbox Wireless Adapter, experience the advanced precision and comfort of your Xbox Wireless Controller on Windows 10 PCs, laptops, and tablets. Use it with PC games, and Xbox One games streamed to Windows 10, to elevate your game wherever you want to play," the release details revealed.
The Xbox Wireless Adapter is set to be released this Oct. 20, according to the official announcement of the product on the Xbox Website.
The Xbox Wireless Adapter will have the following features:
- It can be used to play with your Xbox Wireless Controller on Windows 10 PCs, laptops, and tablets.
- It can be used to play with PC games and Xbox One games streamed to Windows 10.
- It can be used to enable the same gaming experience you are used to on Xbox One, including in-game chat and high quality stereo audio.
- Package includes USB extender cable to extend the USB connection to your Windows 10 PC, laptop, or tablet to enhance placement and accessibility to the Wireless Adapter.
The Xbox Wireless Adapter can be used with the Xbox One Wireless Controller or the Xbox Wireless Controller, as well as controller compatible games on PCs and tablets running on Windows 10 with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0.
The adapter is only compatible with controllers designed for Xbox One and cannot be used for controllers designed for Xbox 360. Firmware update may be necessary with ISP fees.
