After the twist-filled plot of the Season 3 premiere episode of "The Originals," the tension continues in the second episode of the show.
According to the official synopsis posted on Cartermatt, Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees) will deliver a troubling prophecy to Elijah (Daniel Gillies). According to the report, this prophecy involves the war of the original family against their first sire line. It was revealed that the prophecy also predicts the downfall of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his siblings. With that, Klaus will resort to drastic measures to determine the validity of the impending threat against his family.
There will also be another threat coming their way as Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) fails to return during a full moon. This reportedly makes Elijah and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) worry about Hayley's safety, considering there are poachers being put out in the bayou.
However, it was reported that Hayley is actually safe and only Davina (Danielle Campbell) has the knowledge about her exact location. The synopsis reveals that she may use this information to her advantage.
Meanwhile, Ecumenical News reports that Cami (Leah Pipes) and Klaus will have more moments in episode 2. According to the site, Cami will come across a theory about the deaths in the French Quarter, which she will tell Klaus. During the show's pilot, Klaus tried to flirt with Cami, but the later seemed to still be hiding her feelings for the hybrid.
In the short clip which teases the events in episode 2, Elijah can be seen talking to Klaus, asking him about what he knows about the prophecy. Klaus said that the prophecy reveals the potential downfall of their family. Klaus then talks to someone on the phone, warning of someone's death.
"The Originals" Season 3 episode 2, titled "You Hung the Moon," will premiere this week on The CW.
