‘Batman Arkham Knight’ DLC: 5 New Character Outfits Confirmed by Rocksteady

Avid fans of "Batman: Arkham Knight" have something to look forward to in the coming weeks. Recent reports claim that the game will be receiving a free update in which players will be able to choose their own characters for the game's AR challenges, a report from Design & Trend said on Monday.

According to the report, players will be able to choose among the "Batman: Arkham Knight" roster of characters. There will be five playable characters, namely: Batman, Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing and Azreal.

It was said that additional characters expected to come in the game via free downloadable contents, which include Harley Quinn, Red Hood and Batgirl. It was also emphasized that aside from the playable characters, game developer Rocksteady will likely release another wave of DLC featuring five new additional outfits for Batman and other DLC characters.

Enumerated below are the "Batman: Arkham Knight" five DLC character outfits, according to the aforementioned website.

  • Batgirl - Cassandra Cain
  • Robin - Arkham City
  • Catwoman - The Long Halloween
  • Harley Quinn - Animated Series
  • Red Hood - Arkham Knight

In related news, it can be recalled that "Batman: Arkham Knight" game director Sefton Hill previously announced through Twitter that the game will be getting a DLC update this October. Hill was reportedly referring to the DLC update where players can select their preferred characters for the game's AR and predator challenges.

"Rocksteady originally had no plans of introducing a character select feature for 'Arkham Knight's' AR challenges, even though the challenge modes in past Arkham games such as 'Arkham City' and 'Arkham Origins' included character selection as a standard feature," the report noted.

However, Hill did not disclose as to whether or not character selection will eventually work for the game's dual play challenges.
