Homeland star Claire Danes and her husband Hugh Dancy quietly bought a $6.8 million townhouse in Manhattan's West Village last November, according to reports.
Real Estalker reports Claire and Dancy have made the short move from their posh pad in SoHo to a trendy townhouse in Manhattan's West Village.
The born-and-raised New Yorker, Danes and her British actor husband Dancy listed their former home in SoHo for $5.988 million last June. The SoHo condo is currently off the market, but property records have yet to report a sale.
The 3,166 square foot home boasts five bedrooms, marble fireplaces, its own courtyard and awesome rooftop views. Described as "welcoming" and "bright," the single-family home was built at the turn of the 20th century and retains much of its original Greek Revival style.
The fully renovated property is a castle by neighborhood standards and was sold to Claire for $6,876,000.
Danes currently stars as Carrie Mathison in Showtime's "Homeland." The role has garnered her critical acclaim as well as the 2012 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama.
