Tech website GSMarena had the new Nexus phones under a poll, and the results say that the "Nexus 6P" is more loved than the "Nexus 5X". According to the poll results, 75% of people loved the 6P while only 59% loved their 5X. It turns out that the unsightly bulge at the back of the 6P wasn't a bad thing after all, or maybe people did like that. And presumably, the specs of the "Nexus 6P" is enough to satisfy the consumers' needs.
While the "Nexus 6P" did impress its users, things are not quite as well with the "Nexus 5X", which is a bit odd, considering how people have craved for phones with large screens and good display. It may have seemed that the 5.2 inch 1080p feature of the "LG Nexus 5X" would be a dream phone to many, especially that the phone isn't short on specs as well. It has a Snapdragon 808 chipset and the camera is as good as the Huawei Nexus 6P's, not to mention that it also has a fingerprint scanner - all of these for a price lower than 6P's.
Nonetheless, that doesn't mean that the 5X isn't at all a good phone, in fact, 59% upvote response isn't that bad. It's just that, it did not reach the satisfaction rating that you would expect from a phone that has the potential to be a top Android smartphone upon its release. It's hard to say where the 5X has gone grong, it's possible that it is just a matter of how worthy the phone is of its price. Both the "Nexus 6P" and the "Nexus 5X" are at the higher price category, maybe the 6P is simply more price worthy than the 5X.
Disregarding the poll, both phones have high end specs which may suggest that both are great. However, through GSMarena's poll, we can have a new perspective as to which phone the users think performs better.
