'Tekken 7' Release Date: Summer 2016; Spain Gets Arcade Version

The rumor has it about the release date of the much awaited next installment of the Bandai Namco video game, "Tekken 7." However, the current announcement of the managers may have finally answered the speculations.

David Fraile, Bandai Namco Entertainment marketing manager in Spain, made the confirmation through a YouTube Video in the Madrid Games Week. He said the next installment will be launched in 2016 and might be available for some chosen new generation game consoles which can accommodate the graphics.

The Arcade release of the fighting title is also under development by the Spanish team, the team is still working on the game's console version while they eye on the European releases.

"It is true that we are planning various activities around the Tekken license. However, I want to clarify my comments made during MGW: Tekken is one of the largest licenses of Bandai Namco and obviously we are working on bringing content related to license the West. At the moment, we are trying to bring arcade Tekken 7 to Madrid, Barcelona and other Spanish cities," Fraile explained.

On the other hand, the similar schedule has been hinted by some gaming websites like "We Got This Covered" of Michael Briers, who also said that the release date of "Tekken 7" will be in 2016.

The first official statement clarifies the speculations, stating that they are presently working on having "Tekken 7" to be released for the western part of Spain in its arcade version.

The developers has also been promoting the game actively by introducing new fighters like Shaheen, a Saudi Arabian character, eskrima fight, Jose Rizal from the Philippines, and the return of Nina, Anna and Kuma.
