Samsung will soon be releasing the Galaxy J3, a new budget-friendly smart phone with a 5-inch display, that will surely attract buyers because of its specs and its expected affordable price.
The new Samsung flagship with model number SM-J3109 was seen on the GFXBench benchmark site, WinFuture reported, but it was already removed from the database. Yet, its benchmarking is once again spotted on Geekbench on Oct. 8 which manifest that its release is nearing.
Based on the listings, the specs and features of Samsung Galaxy J3 smart phone is better than its predecessor Samsung Galaxy J2, as it sport a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. Said device is equipped with Snapdragon 410 64-bit Cortex-A53 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage, Tech Times reported.
It is also rumored that the phone will have 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video capture and a 5MP front-camera. It is said that the device produces amazingly credible photographs. The smart phone will also have expandable memory since a microSD card can be added. The additional memory is expected for J3 since it was offered on the Samsung Galaxy J2.
Samsung Galaxy J3 is preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop with a ARM Qualcomm @1.19 GHHz 1 processor, 4 cores. Such is a reasonable move since the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow will first be available to the company's high-end devices.
In terms of pricing, it isn't known at this moment yet but since the Galaxy J2 was tagged at $125, it is speculated that the J3 will have a reasonable budget-friendly price. The release date of the Samsung Galaxy J3 is not yet known as of this writing.
To recall, the South Korean company just launched the Galaxy J2 flagship with 4.7-inch qHD screen last month in India, featuring a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The Galaxy J3 is expected to be an improvised version of the Samsung J series. Galaxy J3 will be the fifth family member of said series after the Galaxy J1, Galaxy J2, Galaxy J5, and Galaxy J7, Phone Arena reported.
