Carrie (Claire Danes) and Quinn's (Rupert Friend) past will continue to haunt them in the new episode of "Homeland" Season 5.
According to International Business Times, Carrie will soon find out who are after her. According to the synopsis for the new episode, Carrie will not be alone in the journey as her boyfriend Jonas (Alexander Fehling) will be with her.
In the promotional video for episode 3, Carrie can be seen telling Jonas that she thought that she already left her past behind. Carrie then makes a list of all the enemies she made before and tries to figure out who could be after her. However, Jonas tells her that this could be an impossible mission for her to take. This is because Jonas discovers that there are hundreds of names on Carrie's list.
Meanwhile, before Carrie becomes successful in uncovering the mystery, someone from her past will visit her. According to Movie News Guide, Saul (Mandy Patinkin) might ask Quinn to make Carrie his next target. In the last episode, Quinn was seen receiving orders for his next mission, and his hands were shaking before he could completely spell Carrie's name.
According to showrunner Meredith Stiehm, Carrie and Quinn will cross each other's paths once again in the new season. However, she revealed that it would take some time before the two can revert to the connection that they had in the previous season. She promised fans that the reunion between Quinn and Carrie will be absolutely dramatic.
It was also revealed that Quinn is not the only problem Carrie will be facing this season, as it appears that Berlin Station Chief Allison Carr (Miranda Otto) has told her team to keep an eye on Carrie.
"Homeland" Season 5 episode 3 will air this Sunday, October 18, on Showtime.
