According to Latin Times, pop royalty Britney Spears is now in talks to be a guest star of the show. However, Netflix and the production team have yet to confirm the news.
According to the site, the rumor started after actress Taryn Manning, who plays Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett in the show, expressed her thoughts about Britney Spears appearing in the show. Manning and Spears were co-stars in the movie "Crossroads," and she revealed that is she had her way; she would want Spears to appear in the show.
Manning said that Spears is a good actress and that she was impressed with the pop star when she worked with her before. She described Spears as someone who is very sincere in her acting.
Meanwhile, Gospel Herald reported that there will be new faces appearing in Season 4 of "Orange is the New Black," which include Jolene Purdy, who is known for her role as Cherita Chen from "Donnie Darko." According to the site, her role has not been revealed. It was also reported that Jackie Cruz and Lea DeLaria were promoted to series regulars, so the fans can expect to see more of them and their stories in Season 4.
In other news, some of the fans are reportedly wondering if Natasha Lyonne will return to show to reprise her role as Nicky Nichols. Reports reveal that the writers of the show are still mum about the issue, and they do not want to reveal whether the character will be appearing in the next season.Earlier, Lyonne revealed in an interview that she has no idea if her character will be returning for Season 4.
