Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's divorce was followed by numerous fans, and some can't help but wonder what really happened. As per Celeb Dirty Laundry, just weeks after news broke out, Shelton seemed to be in good shape as he flaunted his new revenge body.
During one of his interviews after his split with his wife, Shelton shared how he lost appetite which triggered his weight loss.
"The whole stress of getting through the separation, it was just weird. I'm not eating as many friend pickles and stuff, I'm doing great, I am. It is what it is."
Most of Shelton's friends seem to love the fact that he and Miranda Lambert decided to part ways. During an interview with OK Magazine, one of his friends stated that getting a divorce did more good than bad.
"It's remarkable that he's not just making it through, but thriving. Blake wants a family and now he is looking for a sweet country girl that is not in the limelight. After a depressing few months he is in a great place. He will be an absolute catch for the right woman."
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert divorce rumors have been getting messy as numerous speculations stated that it was Miranda who caused the split.
As per OK! Magazine, an insider stated that "Blake discovered Miranda had these feelings for Ryan after her band member saw them together."
The source then added:
"He had enough of witnessing her behavior around him and finally told Blake. He'd taken Miranda back time and time again, and he would have done it again had she owned up to her mistakes and corrected them. It was a crushing blow to Blake's ego. Miranda would get drunk and lash out at Blake, punching and screaming if she thought he was so much as looking at another woman. Blake had normally been drinking too, and the fights would ignite like nothing I'd seen."
Things may have gone from bad to worst in their relationship, but after the split, Shelton seemed to be doing great. In one of his interviews on CMT's Hot 20 Countdown Show, he even said that "I'm in a good place. I wasn't, but I am now. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I'm loving it."
