'Samsung Galaxy Grand On' Specs, Price, News: Listed In TENAA, Comes With Dual Core Processor And 1 GB RAM

We have heard a lot about a "Galaxy O" series in the past and the names "Galaxy O5" and "Galaxy O7" have surfaced in line with the O series. Other names that these models came with are the Galaxy Grand On (Galaxy O5) and the Galaxy Mega On (Galaxy O7). Now, we just got an information regarding the Samsung "Galaxy Grand On" (O5) being listed on China's TENAA website under the model code SM-G550. This listing confirms the specs of the "Samsung Galaxy Gran On".

"Galaxy Grand On" Specs

In the TENAA listing, a gold Samsung "Galaxy Grand On" was shown and it comes with the info about the phone's specifications. The phone will have a 5.1 inch TFT HD display and a resolution of 720 x 1280. It will have a Dual core 1.2 GHz processor and it will run the 5.1.1 Lollipop version of Android. The RAM is 1 GB and the internal memory is 8 GB with an external storage capacity of up to 128 GB. The cameras include an 8 MP rear and a 5 MP front. The "Samsung Galaxy Grand ON" will have an LTE network support and although no battery info was listed in TENAA, rumors suggest that it would be carrying a 2600 mAh battery.

"Galaxy Grand On" Price

One basis for the Grand On's price is India's import website that lists the "Galaxy Grand On" with a price of around $104 when converted to US dollars.

Once the phone gets released in the market, it shall yet be another affordable Samsung phone with not-so compromised set of features. It's good to see lower end phone models support LTE networks and carry front cameras not lower than 5 MP. For a price within the $100+ bracket, the "Galaxy Grand On" will probably be embraced by a larger consumer population. Samsung's lower end phones have gone a long way after the Samsung Young's season.
