On Tuesday, software giant Microsoft has released a wireless PC adapter that will allow players to play games streamed from Xbox One to PC and vice versa. The company will reportedly release the wireless adapter on Oct. 20. The device comes with other functions that are compatible with Windows 10, a report from Gamespot said.
"With the Xbox Wireless Adapter, experience the advanced precision and comfort of your Xbox Wireless Controller on Windows 10 PCs, laptops, and tablets. Use it with PC games, and Xbox One games streamed to Windows 10, to elevate your game wherever you want to play," said Microsoft on Xbox One's official website.
According to Gamespot, Microsoft's Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows will be sold on online retail stores such as Gamespot and Amazon. However, it should be noted that the two stores will sell the device on two separate dates, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3.
Although Microsoft has announced that the wireless adapter will be available on Oct. 20, the company did not confirm if console owners and PC users will be able to buy the device on the same day.
"[W]e can confirm the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows, announced earlier this year, will release on Oct. 20 in most markets. We look forward to sharing more details soon," the company said as quoted by the aforementioned website.
