Fans of "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" are still awaiting updates about the upcoming sequels. Ahead of the former's release, some of them came up with interesting storylines for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
According to Design & Trend, fans of E.L. James' trilogy were inspired to come up with their own versions of the couple's relationship while they are still waiting for "Fifty Shades Darker." On the site Fanfiction, one fan wrote a story titled "Second Chances," which focused on Christian and Anastasia finding comfort and support from each other.
However, one twist is that Anastasia is already a single mom, and Christian might not be open to the idea of parenting a child that is not his.
Meanwhile, another fan wrote about Christian's parents finding out that he's a dominant. In order to get his much-needed peace and quiet, he will decide to stay away from everyone. Throughout his journey, Christian will get to know himself better, and that is also the time when he would meet Anastasia.
Another story focused on how Christian will deal with his inner demons especially when he starts to get jealous of anyone who comes close to Anastasia. On the other hand, Anastasia was depicted in the fan-fiction story as a smart woman who is not necessarily timid.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the upcoming release date of "Fifty Shades Darker" will remain intact. Just recently, James shared a photo of herself with Nialla Leonard and James Foley outside NBC Universal. Although the author didn't divulge any information regarding the photo, fans speculated that the trio is already in discussion as to the direction of the upcoming film.
"Fifty Shades Darker" stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. The film is slated for release in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
