"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" co-stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley are reportedly avoiding each other. According to Movie News Guide, ever since the filming for the sequel wrapped up recently, Woodley and James have been avoiding each other.
On the contrary, some fans believe that the onscreen couple can never avoid each other. It just so happens that they are both busy with their upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, the publication also said that Woodley became so dependent on James at one point during their stint on "Divergent" and "Insurgent" because they have been working together for the past couple of years. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress said that held on to James, but this only happened when they filmed a rather sensitive scene.
"I was holding onto Theo's shoulders like it was the last thing!" she said.
James also spoke about the same scene during a separate interview and revealed that it was quite a challenging scene for the both of them.
"We did this bit where Shai had to be facing down and I had to be the other way, and it was a little daunting," he said.
In other news, fans can expect to see huge changes in the franchise's second-to-the-last film. After the movie's title was changed recently, book author Veronica Roth also confirmed that there will be other changes. However, Roth said that she doesn't know anything about them just yet so she will be waiting for announcements together with the fans.
"Allegiant - Part 1" used to be the film's title but it was changed to "The Divergent Series: Allegiant." The second part of the last film was changed from "Allegiant - Part 2" to "The Divergent Series: Ascendant."
"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016. "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" will be released in 2017.
