Perrie Edwards is back on the dating scene a month after Zayn Malik dumped her. New reports reveal that she had a couple of low-profile dates with Joey Essex, and his manager has confirmed it.
Zayn Malik would reportedly be shocked at how fast his ex has moved on from him. According to the TOWIE star's manager, Perrie dated Joey a couple of times after she split with her longtime boyfriend. The manager went to add that the secret meetings of the Little Mix singer and his talent surprised him as he was not aware of it during the time, Mirror reports.
"I can confirm that Joey exchanged numbers with Perrie Edwards at The Pride Of Britain Awards and [they] have met up a couple of times," Joey's manager told the Mirror.
Perrie reportedly started dating Joey after meeting him at the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards in September. The two exchanged phone numbers after a common friend introduced them at the British event. However, according to the manager, despite their recent hookups, Joey is still single.
While the "Black Magic" singer broke up with Zayn in August, Joey has just separated with his 18-year-old girlfriend, Charlotte Stuchfield. He was engaged to Sam Faiers and was also romantically linked to Amy Willerton, a Miss Universe contestant.
"It's very early days, but Perrie likes Joey because he makes her laugh.They are just getting to know each other and taking things slowly, but Joey is already smitten, an OK! Magazine insider revealed.
Meanwhile, Perrie revealed in an interview with James Corden that she's currently embracing her single life and enjoying the company of her friends.
"Do you know what? I'm good. I'm having an absolute blast in America," she recently shared with James Corden. "Things are going so well. I just wake up every day and I thank my lucky stars I have these three girls."
