'Dance Moms' Season 6 Spoilers: Maddie Ziegler Help ALDC to Victory?

“Dance Moms” participated in their first Season 6 competition garnering awards for the episode 1 as Abby Lee Miller and her “Dance Moms” students attended the Sheer Talent Special Edition Competition in Glendale, California on Oct. 10, International Business Times reported.

Despite failing to win in Season 5 competitions, ALDC LA (Abby Lee Dance Company Los Angeles) dominated this time. The group dance “The Girl in the Plastic Bubble" won first place in the teen division while Season 5 guest star Brynn Rumfallo was name first place winner for the preteen lyrical division and first place overall winner with her performance on “The Coronation,” Dance Moms Spoiler site reported.

Meanwhile, star student Maddie Ziegler was listed in the competition but the 13-year-old star wasn't able to join since she is filming “The Book of Henry” in New York, a drama directed by Colin Trevorrow that stars Naomi Watts, Just Jared reported.

On the other hand, JoJo Siwa received a platinum for her "Own It" routine even if she didn’t manage to grab a place with her preteen jazz solo.

Apart from dominating Season 6, Abby's team was also able to beat long-time rival, Jeanette Cota’s Broadway Dance Academy who only got the second place in the teen division for their contemporary group number “The Waiting Room.” To recall, "The Waiting Room" is also the same performance that ALDC did for the Season 5 finale.

Apparently, Abby was thrilled with the results of the competition as she shared a photos of Maddie, Brynn, 12, Nia Frazier, 14, Mackenzie Ziegler, 11, and JoJo, 12, while onstage at the competition, along with the caption, “Happy #SheerTalentSaturday!!!!!”

Before the said competition, the “Dance Moms” girls filmed a live installment of “Girl Talk: No Moms Allowed," where they discussed about rivalries, dancing and others.
