Reese Witherspoon Buys Third Property in Brentwood Circle for $3 Million

The "Sweet Home Alabama" actress, Reese Witherspoon, has reportedly purchased a property just next to a compound she already owns in Brentwood Circle, Los Angeles, for $3 million. The purchase makes this her third buy in the area, according to Curbed.

Witherspoon first purchased a home in the private and gated area back in 2003 when she was still married to Ryan Philippe. She bought it for around $4.7 million. The second home purchase came in 2009 for which she shelled out $3.2 million. Located just next to her main home, she demolished the place and converted it to an extra yard. The most recent purchase is also next to her joint compound.

Apparently, Witherspoon picked up the residence late in December 2012. According to Real Estalker, the home is a 3053 square feet, single family residence, comprising of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Sitting on a 0.66 acre land, the home was built in 1956.

The home has a separate detached one bed-one bath guesthouse, which can be used as a studio. It also has a swimming pool, open sitting areas and a two car park garage.

Witherspoon also recently price-chopped a large chunk of money from her ranch-style home in Ojai. It is now asking for $7.25 million. The Ojai estate has quite a celebrity history. The property was owned by actor Harold Ramis and designer Kathy Ireland picked it up in 2008, before Witherspoon bought it . Apparently, it also served as an 'escape' for Robert Pattinson when he first found out that girlfriend Kirsten Stewart was cheating on him! The home was also featured in 'House Beautiful' and 'Elle Décor'.

When not involved in real estate issues and lending a helping "house" to "heartbroken friends", Witherspoon screams slurs at policemen! Recently, she and her husband, Jim Toth, were arrested for bad conduct and driving under the influence of alcohol.
