A new teaser for the upcoming premiere episode of "Being Mary Jane" Season 3 was recently released online.
In the clip, Mary Jane's mom can be seen talking to Lisa after the latter caused her daughter to lay in a hospital bed, fighting for her dear life. During their conversation, Lisa opened up about her affair with David, and this has led Helen to figure out where her daughter's former best friend's loyalty lies, according to Fashion N Style.
"I hoped that David would realize we needed to tell Mary Jane the truth. That's all I ever wanted," Lisa told Helen in the sneak peek. "I never wanted to be dishonest with her. I just hope that for once he would side with me and allow me to let Mary Jane into my truth," she added.
However, Helen didn't buy Lisa's explanation and reasoning.
"So let me be clear. You needed permission from David to be honest with Mary Jane?" she asked.
After Lisa said that she tried to protect David too much, Helen became even more pissed at her.
"Did you sleep with David? Yes or no? Now I know how you kids like to be technical, so did his penis enter in any hole in your body?" Helen slammed Lisa.
At one point, Mary Jane's mom couldn't help but question Lisa's decision to sleep with David considering that there are a lot of other men in the world.
"Do you realize how many million men are in this world? You could have tried them all. I would not have judged you, but David is almost like family. He's the son I've always dreamed for Mary Jane. You're like family. It's near incest," Helen said.
At this time, an emotional Lisa could no longer defend herself or say anything.
"Being Mary Jane" Season 3 will premiere on BET on Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
