Marvel executive Kevin Feige recently opened up about the upcoming movie "Thor: Ragnarok" and cast member Tom Hiddleston's character, Loki. According to Feige, "Thor: Ragnarok" will focus on Thor's return to Asgard.
In an interview with Marvel, Feige said, "With Thor going back to start the investigation when he finally realizes something bigger is going out and they're being played in a certain way, wanting Hulk to go off to parts unknown, and to bring in some of the characters we introduced in Phase Two."
Meanwhile, Feige also weighed in on rumors that Captain Marvel may make his first appearance during the final scenes of "Thor: Ragnarok." According to Feige, there was a time when they contemplated on including the character into the film. However, things have changed since then.
"In the end, it didn't seem appropriate to have a new person and a new costume clearly come out of nowhere at the end of this story. It would have been a disservice of what, by the time this movie came out, people already knew was coming eventually and in a way we could really do it justice," he said.
In other news, Hiddleston recently dished on what fans can expect from his character Loki on "Thor: Ragnarok." During an interview with Screen Rant, the actor said that he cannot divulge any information about his character.
"I'm interested to see what's happened in the time between. I like to believe that actually he runs Asgard pretty well. The trains run on time and he keeps the streets clean. I honestly don't know," he said.
When asked whether or not there will be a huge "Avengers" crossover in the coming months, Hiddleston once again said that he doesn't know anything as of late.
"That universe is expanding at such a rate, so... your guess is as good as mine," he said.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Nov. 3, 2017.
