The long-awaited crossover episode of "Sleepy Hollow" and "Bones" is finally happening and the producer of "Sleepy Hollow" Raven Metzner talked about it together with cast members of the series at New York Comic Con.
"Sleepy Hollow" stars Lyndie Greenwood, Zach Appelman and Nikki Reed joined executive producer Metzner at New York Comic Con to talk about their upcoming crossover episode as well as new cast members and new characters to the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, Metzner pointed out that despite the fact that there are many similarities between "Sleepy Hollow" and "Bones," they still had some difficulties they needed to overcome. He also emphasized that Ichabod and Brennan are very similar to each other which made the crossover appealing to many fans of both shows. Metzner said about the upcoming merger, "While [Ichabod and Brennan] both are sort of detectives, their worlds are so different. We had to create a case that could stretch across the actual real world and also one that happens in the supernatural world."
A big part of the discussion centered on shipping which Nicole Beharie and Tom Mison are very familiar with. Greenwood said, "They're just shipping me all over the place," she says. "They don't know where to put me yet."
Meanwhile, in a report by Daily Mail, "Twilight" star Nikki Reed drew attention at New York Comic Con to her black and white mini-dress that revealed her long legs. Reed will be joining the cast of "Sleepy Hollow" as Betsy Ross, the flag maker. It was revealed that the American flag she owns has special powers that will be beneficial to both Crane and Abbie. It was also mentioned that Reed's character will also play as spy for George Washington who will share secrets of the British in the American Revolution.
