Did Beyonce and Jay Z Just Snag Cher’s $41 Million Mansion?

A rumor has hit the brokerbabble that singer Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay Z have picked up "Moonstruck" actress, Cher's Malibu mansion that had hit the market just two months back for $41 million.

Perezhilton first started the rumor stating that Beyonce had purchased Cher's Malibu manse. The website states:

"Who knew that Cher and Queen Bey had similar taste in real estate!?!"

However, the folks at the Real Estalker are skeptical about the sale. Moreover, not much proof of the home being sold has been found. Property listing records have not yet showed any transfer of change too.

Anyway, Cher has been shopping out her Malibu mansion as a quiet pocket listing. Cher had listed the water-front home for $45 million in 2008. After tweaking the interiors a little, she listed the home again for $41 million in 2009. The listing was removed in February 2010. However, it came on again and not a single dollar was knocked off the price tag.

The manse was featured in the August 2002 issue of Architectural Digest. Interiors of the residence speak of her elegant taste. The 13,126 square feet residence features Italian renaissance architecture clad in stone walls and flooring. Cher had hired designer friend Ron Wilson to decorate the home. The residence has formal dining and living space all spread across two floors. The home offers beautiful ocean views and a large infinity pool as well.

This is not the first time a real estate rumor about the singer couple surfaced. Sometime back in February, it was reported that the couple was looking at King of Pop, Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. In January Beyonce also bought her mama, Tina Knowles a plush Houston mansion for $5.9 million.

Meanwhile, Cher recently sold off her Los Angeles condo for around $5.5 million that she had first listed in February. The condo is in the Sierra Towers, which also happens to be home to other celebrities like, Sir Elton John, Joan Collins, Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry.
