"America's Next Top Model" cycle 22 eliminated models Dustin McNeer and Justin Kim are back and they are set to bring a different kind of twist. Celebrity Dirty Laundry had an exclusive interview with the two models and they talked about love, life, distractions they've been through and the tough competition within the modelling industry.
Dustin was asked how he felt when he was given a second chance and come back in the competition. He answered that he came back to a different environment, a place wherein everyone is seemed to be upset and stressed out. As he said, "The other contestants were definitely stressed and dramatic. The competition seemed to be getting to everyone."
He was also asked about the tension between him and Hadassah. Dustin revealed that he did not know where that came from considering they were in good terms. However, he thinks that it had something to do that he beat her at one point when he came back. He said, "She seemed to grow a dislike for me. I'm not sure where that come from."
Dustin was also asked on how he felt that he ended up taking Justin's spot. Justin picked him as a challenge partner challenge. He felt bad about it even though he know that Justin was okay.
And lastly, he was asked what experience in ANTM taught him the most about the modelling industry. Dustin shared that he learned a lot from the competition and the tips he got from the panel gave him more room for learning. And he also said that, "Tyra knows the industry and was always eager to teach us all about it."
Meanwhile, Justin was asked if he has any hard feelings with Dustin considering he picked him to be his partner but he ended up taking his spot. Justin said, "Stefano and Dustin are my boys, so I was rooting for him."
Of course, Justin was asked about the letter that he left Mame and what it feels like to build a relationship in a reality show such as ANTM. Justin shared that it was unexpected but he considers it as a blessing. He also said that it helped a lot that he was able to talk to someone in the competition. Aside from that, he also shared that when it comes to a serious relationship "it could happen. It's tough but possible," Justin said.
Another question asked to Justin was how he felt modelling on a Tyra-level. He shared that it was a different level, an opportunity that you can't miss as he said, "I had to take a chance and I'm glad I did."
Lastly, Justin revealed that he might try some acting classes since that is one of his passions. Aside from that, he is also working on athletic and sportswear fashion line and he said, "My business partner and I are still talking with manufacturers and have two different names picked, but the line would be very functional and clean - just like my style." And he is also planning to getting involved in a philanthropic act by giving shoes to kids who are in need.
Justin was beaten out by Devin in the Episode 9 elimination (the result was announced in Episode 10). Devin got a score of 31.3 out of 40 from the judges and challenged scores while Justin only earned 29.9. Justin was reportedly "disappointed" but he hoped that he still made his parents proud.
