'The Late Late Show' host Craig Ferguson has sold his home in Los Angeles just three months after putting in on the market and made a million dollar profit.
The Mediterranean mansion - complete with original 1930s details including arched passageways, turquoise bath tiles, wood floors and a covered deck boasting sweeping views of the beautiful Beechwood Canyon - is a far cry from where The Late Late Show host grew up in the Scottish suburbs.
He sold the home for $1.7 million, reported Zillow.com, The 4-bedroom, 4-bath Spanish-style villa has been Ferguson's home since 1997, when he bought it for $569,000.
Ferguson joined the CBS late-night lineup in 2005, but his entertainment experience began as a drummer in a British rock band. In the '90s, he found his calling as a comedian with a breakthrough performance as Mr. Wick on "The Drew Carey Show."
Ferguson is now back in Cumbernauld, Scotland filming with Mila Kunis. The trip was planned after Ferguson reportedly slammed his home town on his show.
