'Kingdom Hearts 3' News & Release Date: Game To Be Released in November, Will Be Showcased at Disney’s Event?

Avid fans of the popular role-playing video game, "Kingdom Hearts 3," have something to cheer about. This is after a new report has surfaced on Thursday saying that additional information about Square Enix's upcoming game will be unveiled next month during this year's Disney D23 Event, iDigital Times said.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that new details about the game will be announced at Disney's D23 Event which will be held on Nov. 23. The news comes after a translated transcript of interview of Nomura was published in Dengeki, a Japanese gaming magazine. Thus, with this development, players will be able to learn more about the game's features, characters and gameplay.

It can be recalled that the latest information about "Kingdom Hearts 3" was announced during the D23 Expo held in California back in August. It was said that the cast of "Big Hero 6," as announced by Disney, would be featured in the game.

"The themes in Big Hero 6 and Kingdom Hearts match very well. For instance, there's friendship, really important to both stories, and then of course light over darkness," Roy Conli, producer from the Walt Disney Animation Studios, said as quoted in the report. "The story will take place after the events of the film after Hiro and the gang have formed a heroic team. Not only will this allow us to explore all new adventures focused on great action, but we'll also get to see Baymax again."

Daily Sun Knoxville reports that Square Enix plans to add new characters and worlds to the game. Some of the rumored characters that the company will include are Elsa from Frozen, Darth Vader and Iron Man.

"Snow White" and the seven dwarves, "Peter Pan," "Mulan," "Hunch Back of Notre Dame," "Lion King" and "Captain Jack Sparrow" are also rumored to join the cast of "Kingdom Hearts 3." However, it should be noted that all these are mere speculations unless Square Enix issues an official statement.
