Ever since Giada and Todd Thompson officially divorced, rumors of her affair with fellow chef Bobby Flay kept marinating. Prior to this, Bobby Flay has also ended his ten-year marriage with Stephanie March following his alleged cheating with an assistant.
Now that Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay are both officially single at the cost of an expensive divorce, more and more fans are speculating if they would finally come clean with the relationship.
It can be remembered back in May that according to Radar Online, Giada and Bobby were having more than just a friendly dinner at Emilio's Ballato in New York City. A source has said, "They were holding hands under their table and looked very cozy. They even carved their initials in a secret place on the wall. Secret's out now!" A staff from the restaurant also confirmed their presence at Emilio's that night. And later on, to add more flavor to the supposed brewing romance, another witness has come forward to reveal that the two have been spending more time together and they kept communicating even when they are apart.
According to People Magazine, Giada and Bobby Flay were also spotted having a romantic dinner together before Giada announce that she and her husband were divorcing. The rumored couple where dining at Cecconi's in the private Soho Beach House. A witness had told People Magazine, "They were laughing and talking and enjoying the fabulous weather. Neither seemed to have a care in the world."
But will the rumored affair still carry one even after Bobby Flay was shamed while receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was reportedly giving a speech when a plane hovered over the skies carrying a banner that said "CHEATER", according to E! Online. There is no confirmation if the banner was intended for Flay but given his history with women, the plane appeared at a perfect timing.
Were they really romantically involved even before they ended their marriage? If there indeed is a relationship, would Giada be smart enough to take a hint from the banner incident?
