In 2011 rumors of Lopez buying an $18 million Hamptons manse after she was spotted touring it had hit the brokerbabble. However, it turned out that all the reports were untrue. Apparently, the house that she is buying is just down the road from the manse she was speculated to but in 2011. But this time she is serious, reports the New York Post.
"She was serious about buying this time," a source said to the NY Post, adding that the price was "a steal."
"This is a better deal. It's a better property and it is more private. It's an amazing, great buy," the source continued.
Lopez's plush property splurge comes just a few days from ex-husband Marc Anthony's Los Angeles Home purchase. Anthony and Lopez were married for eight years before divorcing in July 2011. The divorce was hard for Lopez. All that trauma and drama will be covered in her upcoming 3D film "Dance Again".
Lopez said to E! Online:
"I'd been through a big change in my life with the divorce and everything, and as crazy as we are, we thought, 'Let's put that on camera!"
