iOS 9.0.2 Jailbreak Latest Release for iPod, iPad and iPhone: Review and Tutorial [Video]

Gadget geeks will be delighted with the release of a jailbreak by Pangu that works for iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2. This jailbreak works also for all iPods, iPads and iPhones.

To jailbreak the device, user needs to upgrade it to iOS 9, 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 via over-the-air (OTA). Make sure to restore first to a fresh iOS 9.0.2 version from iTunes. By not doing this, user will not be able to jailbreak the device. First of all, download the latest version of the iPod, iPad or iPhone and install it on the device.

According to Redmond Pie, the Pangu 9 is applicable on iOS 9.0, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 while the jailbreak tool is only currently available for Windows.

All iOS devices capable of running iOS 9 are being supported as well as iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPad mini 4.

This is to remind user that Pangu 9 is currently available only for Windows OS, so user need a device that runs on Windows; user also need to install iTunes on any Windows PC.

Based on the review of Neuro Gadget, once user installed Pangu 9 and iTunes on the Windows PC, turn off the Find my iPhone. To do this, go to settings ->iCloud->Find My iPhone and disable the feature.

Then, disable the Touch ID and Passcode unlock. To do this, go to settings->Touch ID & Passcode and selecting "Turn Passcode off". Before user start to jailbreak the device, user need also to enable the Airplane Mode from Settings.

After following all the steps, user can now start downloading Pangu 9 on the Windows PC and connect the iDevice to the computer. When clicking the "Start" button, the jailbreak process will begin.

After the process, a new window appears, where it will need to select "Already backup" to continue. During the jailbreak process, there will be two applications on the home screen of the iDevice, one will be named WWDC and the other will be named Pangu.

The jailbreak tool will ask to run the Pangu application from the Home screen, tap on the Pangu application and give it access to the Photos application when it will request it. After a few moments, there will be a message confirming that the jailbreak has been completed.

Upon completion, close the Pangu application from the Windows PC. The iDevice will reboot once again to complete the operation; there will be a notice by Cydia on the Home screen, from where the user can install tools, applications and games.
