"One Direction" fans are heartbroken when the band officially announced that they would be taking a break off their music career. Their manager, Simon Cowell, however announced that the split could be permanent. Inquisitr reported that Cowell "drip fed" the news to the media lessen the impact towards the bands fans.
"We were conscious about the welfare of fans... We've known about this for about a year and didn't want it to be a massive shock. We have said to the boys to take as long as you want and, within reason, do whatever you want."
On one of Daily Star's report, it stated that Cowell himself admitted that the split is permanent.
"The official statement is the band are taking a year's break to pursue solo projects but the truth is they may never come back together."
"It depends how successful their solo careers become and whether all four commit to a comeback because they've agreed it has to be all four or nothing following Zayn's exit."
"I think there will be some solo stuff, then the group will come back together but it's completely their decision. We don't know."
One of the band members who is eager to take a break is the father to be, Louis Tomlinson, 23. He and his girlfriend, Briana Jungwirth, 23, is expecting their first child a few months from now.
As per Hollywoodlife, a source dished out Louis Tomlinson's baby's gender, and It's a girl!
Louis' family is thrilled, they would have been happy either way, but they know he will be a great dad to a daughter because he has six sisters. And Briana's over the moon! "She's gone to London to support him while he's on tour, and Louis plans to be there for the birth, they're trying to make things work."
Another source then exclusively informed Hollywoodlife that Louis would be a hands-on dad. He wants to be updated often in regards to their upcoming baby's health update.
"Louis has been really involved with the details of his baby to be, He knows when Briana has doctor visits, and always wants to know all of the details. He's even asked Briana to text him photos of the sonogram."
