RURALTY and LOFT Team Up on 3D Virtual Staging

The developer of the cloud-based platform roOomy suite, LOFT Inc., has announced its partnership with RURALTY International, which PR Newswire defines as a lifestyle marketing platform. Mike Wheatley wrote on Realty Biz News that a part of this partnership is the inclusion of roOomy's suite in the RURALTY's "technology stack and syndication channels "to hundreds of brokers all over the world.

Wheatley explains that LOFT has become popular as an innovator of 3D visualization of home furnishings in rooms. The core technology of LOFT enables the room's photograph to be immediately turned into a 3D environment which can be redecorated. This technology is used by the leading brands in the furniture business. The platform roOomy, on the other hand, makes virtual staging and redecoration of real estate listings in 3D possible. As a result, retailers of home furnishings get connected with the real estate practitioners and consumers who are thinking of purchasing a home.

Purchasing a home is a major financial decision and one of the difficulties when buying is that 90 percent of the homebuyers cannot visualize the potential of a home. The Director of Development for RURALTY , Shawn Kalin, says ,"room's technology not only helps consumers visualize a home's potential, it lets them personalize the listing images with the style of furnishings and home decor that they love, allowing them to visualize in 3D how they would live in the space."

The patented core technology of roOomy transforms 2D images into 3D models to enable homebuyers experience customization. roOomy's team of interior designers virtually stage listing photos with branded furnishings and other home décor products that are picked from the top retailers of the country. The virtual listing can be seen either in 3D, manipulated or zoomed from the roOomy iPad app. A customer may even re-design it.

Full access to the roOomy's suite will be provided by Listings on.com and such will include virtual staging services, app listing pages and premium renderings of these 3D stagings. The Chief Executive Officer of roOomy, Pieter Aarts, announced that RURALTY will be one of the first firms in the country to have access to roOomy's newest tools, which will be launching this fall.

Aarts says, "roOomy will be releasing a web viewer this fall that will allow consumers to view and zoom in on the 3D listing images in a web browser." Likewise, he said that an erase tool would soon be added to the roOomy App. This will allow a consumer to remove existing furnishings from any listing image so that he can redesign the space in accordance to his style and taste.
