Two of the Biggest Entrepreneurs Who Got Rich Later In Life

Most millionaires are lucky to be born rich, while some have to work their way to earn their first million. Entrepreneurial success may be hard, but some individuals who are determined enough made it big later in life. Business ideas may have failed, but it's not a reason for these individuals to let go what they had started. Listed below are two entrepreneurs who started from scratch and worked their way up, in which they eventually became entrepreneurial legends.

First on the list is the founder of one of the biggest fast food chains, Colonel Sanders from KFC. Harland Sanders wasn't born rich as he worked many laboring jobs such as being a railroad worker, insurance salesman, farmer, fireman, a steamboat operator, and even a filling station attendant. As per Celebrity Net Worth, it took Sanders 60 years to finally come up with a food business. During the Great Depression, Sanders served chicken with a secret recipe in his quarters which eventually became a hit. Colonel Sanders started KFC at the age of 60, which later on became one of the biggest fast food chains up to this date.

Second is Henry Ford who is known as one of the most successful businessmen up to this date. At a young age, Ford's parents wanted him to take over their farm, but he turned down their offer. At the age of 16, Henry left their home to work as a mechanic. He worked in the same company up until he was 30, in which he eventually became a chief engineer. 10 years later, Ford was able to come up with an assembly line to mass produce the vehicles he created which is now known as the Ford Motor Company. Upon producing the vehicles, he then sold it at a lesser cost. His hard work paid off as he now has a net worth of $199 billion as per the Richest.
