In the Season 4 premiere episode of "Chicago Fire," Casey (Jesse Spencer) will face a difficult situation after his kidnap. In the new episode, he will be coping with the trauma that the experience cost him.
According to the recap by Celeb Dirty Laundry, Nesbitt (Eric Mabius) found out that Casey and Katya (Izabella Miko) have been spying on him, and he did whatever it took to know what kind of information Casey was holding. Nesbitt also knew that Katya kept a diary of the events she saw on Nesbitt's activities, which was also the reason why Katya was killed. Casey was the only one who knows the location of this crucial evidence, which is why Nesbitt went after him.
Upon arriving at Casey's place to tell the news about her pregnancy, Dawson (Monica Raymund) found Katya's dead body lying on the floor while Casey was nowhere to be found. She then asked the help of her brother, and the team was able to rescue Casey.
However, they found no evidence to tie Nesbitt to the case. Nesbitt has proven himself to be a useful informant to the federal agency, which is why they claimed jurisdiction over what happened to him and Casey.
Casey is now experiencing trauma from his recent experience; however, he still wants to go to work. With the things that have happened, Dawson also never got the chance to tell him the news.
According to the official synopsis posted on Hollywood Hills, Casey will try to find the missing diary to keep Nesbitt behind bars once and for all. Meanwhile, Firehouse 51 gets frustrated as they seem to want to help Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) keep his job while he is being investigated about a complicated call in a fire case.
Lt. Severide (Taylor Kinney), on the other hand, will struggle with his new role as he is still adjusting to the presence of his new commanding officer, Capt. Patterson (Brian White).
"Chicago Fire" Season 4 episode 2 will air on October 20.
