Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) discovered that the baby they saved in the premiere episode was the Darkness; now they are in search of the creature while they help Castiel (Misha Collins) in his struggle with his own curse.
According to International Business Times, Rowena (Ruth Connell) will be doing everything in her power to protect herself from the brothers. In the last season, when Rowena removed the Mark of Cain on Dean's arm, she walked away with the "Book of the Damned." Now they are on a hunt for the red-haired witch since they also need her to remove the spell she placed on Castiel. Castiel is now suffering the horrible effects of the spell, and the brothers are doing everything they can to help him.
Rowena is now sporting a blonde look; however, Sam was able to track her down. Aside from Rowena, Sam and Dean will also be searching for the missing baby whom they saved in the Season 11 premiere episode. They found out that the baby was the Darkness, and they need to look for her before she invades another town. The baby has already grown into a young girl after she fed on the soul of Deputy Jenna Nickerson (Laci J. Mailey) in the last episode.
It was reported that the Winchester brothers must try to look for the little girl faster as Crowley (Mark Sheppard) has already tracked down the creature and might help her speed up the process of her growth.
According to Cartermatt, the third episode was directed by Jensen Ackles, which makes the show more interesting. The site also revealed that the third episode was filmed before the first two episodes of Season 11, so fans can expect more thrills in the new episode.
"Supernatural" Season 11 episode 3 will air on October 21.
