Funnyman Eddie Murphy Lists North Jersey Carriage House for $2.5 Million

Eddie Murphy of the "Nutty Professor" and "Raw" fame has reportedly listed another carriage house in Englewood, New Jersey, that sits adjacent to the mansion he just sold to RnB power couple, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. This home is listed for $2.5 million, according to the New York Post.

According to the listing records, the home sits on a 1.51 acre lot and the main house comprises of eight bedrooms and five bathrooms. Available property details are sketchy.

However, the listing describes the property as:

"Very rare, very private, gated 1.51 acre lot. Currently there is a 7 bedroom home on the property which also features a north/south tennis court. Value is in the land. A 500 foot driveway leads to the site. Property is surrounded by multi-million dollar homes. Never before offered."

The listing only has a single photo, that too only of the exterior.

The home is adjacent to the property that Keys and hubby Swizz Beatz purchased a year ago. The couple paid around $10.5 million for the home. The home is a posh estate complete with a bowling alley, an indoor pool, a recording studio, a spa and a hair salon.

The Englewood neighborhood is a celeb studded area with rapper Diddy, Yankee C.C. Sanathia, former Knicks player Patrick Ewing and fashion designer Elie Tahari living in the place. The locality is just minutes away from the George Washington Bridge.

Murphy is in talks with the "Drop it like its Hot" rapper, Snoop Lion (earlier Snoop Dogg) to make a series of movies and TV projects.

"I'm gonna holler at him, see if I can get some paper (money) to do some of these movies. I got a lot of ideas and I'm tired of paying for them myself. He ain't making fresh, dynamic s**t. He only do a movie once a year for the white world. I'm talking about real n**ga s**t that'll keep him connected. Real boss s**t," Snoop Lion said to The Rolling Stones Magazine.
