'Batman: Arkham Knight' PC Update: Game Dev Says Patch Brings DLC Parity For PS4 And Xbox One

Game developer Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that there will be a PC patch for "Batman: Arkham Knight." The company claims that the upcoming update for the game's PC version "will offer content-parity with PS4 and Xbox One." Aside from this, it is expected that the update will introduce improvements as well, a report from Design & Trend said.

"Just popping up here, guys. The end of October update is currently planned to bring the PC version fully up-to-date with all of the patch content and non-exclusive DLC released across all platforms at that point. So when it launches, BAK for PC will have content-parity with console (with the exception of platform-exclusive DLC)," said Rocksteady Studios' social marketing manager Gaz Deaves via the company's official Steam forum account. .

"In other words, despite the fact that the PC port of 'Batman: Arkham Knight' arrives much later than the PS4 and Xbox One versions, it will support the exact same content from the start. The major limitation to that would of course be the PS4 missions and skins that only appear on Sony's console," Design & Trend noted.

"Any extras that are still under retailer exclusivity agreements won't be available either since the buyer has purchased the game on Steam. Essentially, Rocksteady Studios intends to make the game's DLC lineup as fair as possible once the patch is released," the report said.

It can be recalled that back in June, "Batman: Arkham Knight" PC were pulled out by Rocksteady Studios. Shortly after the game was launched on June 23, players have encountered technical glitches which were left unresolved for months.

"Batman Arkham Knight sales were suspended on PC after its disastrous launch. The game continued to receive support after post-game with patches but none of the Season Pass DLCs have been released for the PC so far," said Gearnuke.
