Weeks after the "Blackberry Priv" has been confirmed, Blackberry finally started the pre registration for the long awaited device. In the pre registration page, the company has also made the specs of the Priv finally official. If you sign up, you will be one of the first people to know when the Android Blackberry phone will be available for purchase.
According to the Blackberry website, the "Blackberry Priv" will have a 5.4 inch dual curved screen and a big 3410 mAh battery. As per previous news and rumos, the "Blackberry Priv" will be capable of 4K recording and it will be thinner than Note 5. The price is at around $630, which puts the phone to the higher priced category. But it is still less expensive than many flagship phones released this year.
Additional rumors about the "Blackberry Priv" include its 544 ppi resolution and a processor of dual core 1.6 GHz and quad core 1.44 GHz CPU. The internal storage is said to be 32 GB with possible expansion of up to 128 GB. Cameras will be an 18 MP back camera with OIS and a front camera of 5 MP. So far, only one color is said to be available for the "Blackberry Priv", which is the classic Black color which most Blackberry phones come in.
The "Blackberry Priv" shall be the company's first ever Android phone. This phone shall be the determiner whether the company can go back on top of the mobile phone industry that is seemingly dominated by Apple and Samsung. The announcement of the Blackberry Priv may also be the start of the company's continued usage of the Android operating system. Although of course, the Priv has to do well so it can mark the start of the first generation of Android BB's. But so far with the confirmed and rumored specs, the Priv is one good Android smartphone. The cameras are great and the 3410 mAh battery is better than most of the more expensive phones'.
