'OnePlus X' Price Leaked: New Phone To Cost $220

Just one day after a teaser was released about "OnePlus X", a price leak was also revealed. It was said that the phone will be priced at around $220. "OnePlus X", which is said to be unveiled on 29th of October, is a new smartphone from OnePlus that is expected to have a rather good set of specs considering the price.

$220 possible price makes this phone belong to the lower midrange category, which is good, considering how good the listed specs for "OnePlus X" is. According to the TENAA listing, the "OnePlus X" is expected to have a 5 inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The phone will have a Snapdragon 801 SoC chipset and a 2 GHz quad core processor. The 3 GB RAM of the OnePlus X is quite big compared to its rivals. 3 GB RAM is what you would expect to come from high end smartphones and not from phones as affordable as "OnePlus X", which makes the $220 deal quite good.

But it's not only the RAM that makes this a good deal as the phone's internal storage is quite satisfying as well. It comes with a 16 GB storage that is expandable by up to 128 GB. Additionally, the cameras aren't compromised. A 13 MP primary camera and an 8 MP front camera is a very generous offer, considering how most phones in the expensive category usually come with just a 5 MP front camera.

But of course, we all have to wait until October 29 to find out the truth behind all the OnePlus rumors. On the 29th, we will find out more not only about the new phone's specs but also whether the company is releasing another device called the OnePlus Mini, because there are still confusions with regards to "OnePlus X" and "OnePlus Mini". It's not yet confirmed whether these two names refer to just one phone, or the company plans to release two new smartphones. The confusion is quite relieved by the accidental Amazon listing of a "OnePlus Mini" in India alongside the "OnePlus X" teaser that was released a couple of days ago, which can create an assumption that these two may actually be two individual phones. But we all just have to wait and see by month's end.
