"American Horror Story" Season 5 Episode 3, entitled "Mommy," will feature Donovan (Matt Bomer) leaving the hotel after being dumped by Countess Elizabeth (Lady Gaga) to be with a male model named Tristan (Finn Wittrock). As he looks for his new victim, his potential victim attacks him first, which happens to be Ramona Royale (Angela Bassett), the Countess's dangerous rival, International Business Times reported.
Ramona brings Donovan to an unknown location where he gets tied to a chair while pumping blood out of him. The reason why Ramona is extracting blood from Donovan isn't known yet. Due to Donovan's recent breakup with the Countess, he might plot a revenge with the help of Ramona.
On the same episode, Alex (Chloë Sevigny) and John (Wes Bentley) are seen struggling about the loss of their son, Holden. To recall, Scarlett saw her brother Holden at Hotel Cortez while inside a glass coffin. She later found him alive but didn't want to go home and even attempted to bite her neck. When Scarlett informed her parents about it, John screamed at her telling her that Holden is dead but still John investigated.
In the promo video, it teased that viewers will learn more about the hotel’s original owner and builder, James March (Evan Peters).
Meanwhile, it is rumored that "Hotel" is connected to the first season, "Murder House," as a familiar realtor named Christine Estabrook Marcy, who sold the Harmons their home, appeared to sell Will Drake (Cheyenne Jackson), the titular Hotel Cortez, according to TV Line.
"They're all connected," AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed in a report by Entertainment Weekly last October. "We're just beginning to tell you how they're connected. They're all totally separate but there are clues every season that we're now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined," said Murphy.
The official synopsis for "American Horror Story: Hotel" Season 5 Episode 3, which will be aired on Wednesday, Oct. 21, on FX reads:
"Alex is pushed to her breaking point after Scarlett stirs up memories of Holden. Donovan is targeted by a dangerous rival of The Countess."
