The fifth episode of "Empire" season two will be all about Andre's struggles and the uneasy alliance of Cooki and Anika to form a company that will challenge Empire Entertainment.
Five episodes into the second season of the "Empire," the desire to take down Empire Entertainment is proving to be too strong to resist for Cookie and Anika as they try to set aside their grave differences in order to work with each other. According to Design & Trend, Lyon Dynasty wants to prove it can go head to head with the competition so Anika and Cookie join forces to take down Lucious Lyon and his record company.
Together with Laz, the unlikely pair is planning to hold "Cookie Lyon's Block Party" which they believe is an excellent way to launch the company's artists. It will also feature the debut release of Dynasty theme song penned by Hakeem. Jamal will be working hard with his collaboration with Ne-Yo while Hakeem is nurturing his budding romance with one of the members of the girl group he formed. Andre, on the other hand, wants a clean slate from his troubled past.
In a report by International Business Times, Andre tells his brothers Jamal and Hakeem that he is getting baptized as part of the process of him exorcising his demons. He tells them he would really appreciate it if they could come. Lucious is now back at Empire after being set free from his stint in jail. People are cheering and Lucious wants to stop Lyon Dynasty. He wants to merge it with Empire and unite his family. But it will not be because of love and affection; the old man wants to regain control of his empire.
