But things will even be worse for Sheldon in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 5, entitled "The Perspiration Implementation," when two of his co-workers expressed their interest to date his ex-girlfriend Amy.
Barry Kripke played by John Ross Bowie, who is the fencing instructor of Sheldon, is trying to date Amy now that she is single. This upsets Sheldon and he tries to critique the teaching methods of Kripke and would even challenge him for a duel, International Business Times reported.
In the same episode, Penny, Amy and Bernadette will be helping Stuart (Kevin Sussman) at the Comic Book Store in order to attract more female customers. While conversing with Amy, Stuart believed that Amy is interested on him. Fans speculated that Stuart will make a move to date Amy too.
Synopsis of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 5, which will air on Monday, Oct. 19 on CBS reads, according to Carter Matt: "The guys take a fencing lesson from Barry Kripke and Sheldon finds himself in an awkward position when Kripke expresses interest in Amy. Also, when Stuart struggles to get female customers at the Comic Book Store, Penny, Amy and Bernadette come by to help him out."
Aside from the spoilers, it was also revealed that Laura Spencer who played as Emily Sweeney, Raj's (Kunal Nayyar) girlfriend, was promoted as a regular for the show but she will not appear in every episode, TV Line reported. Instead, she is an as-needed character for the sitcom. Spencer, who once starred on the "Pride and Prejudice, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries" will be a fractional series regular in the current season.
