There are rumors that Harry Styles got a reputation of dating older woman. According to Hollywood Life, when Harry was still 19 years old he had an alleged relationship with Nicole Scherzinger who was 35 years old at that time.
The One Direction heartthrob was just 16 when he first met the Pussycat Dolls hottie. They met on "X Factor" way back 2010 and at that time Nicole was Harry's judge. Nicole was a guest judge on "X Factor" at the time "One Direction" was formed.
According to The Sun, their secret relationship took place three years later when Nicole took a break from her boyfriend, Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton in 2013. A source that happened to be close to both stars said that, "They had a dalliance at the end of the X Factor in 2013 and met up again early last year." The source added that, "Harry was obviously very taken by Nicole who is stunning and he had always looked up to her."
The source continued and said, "But they hooked up over three years later when Harry had matured and was a member of the world's biggest band. Harry was 19 at the time but had an old head on his shoulders because he'd already been in a relationship with Caroline Flack who was 14 years older than him."
Harry and Nicole met up again after 1D performed their single "Midnight Memories" at the "X Factor" final in 2013 and it has been reported that the two were openly flirting with each other. And in February 2014 at a Brit Awards after party hosted by Sony the two were spotted again and the sparks were just all over them.
An insider revealed that "They were openly all over each other at Sony's post-Brits event. They were sitting next to each other, having lots to drink and wildly flirting." The insider then added, "It was very clear there was an electric chemistry between them and something had gone on."
However, according to Nicole's friend that at the time there was never an intention for any serious relationship. As explained, "Yes they did snog and got on well, but they never dated."
